At the age of 32, I am thrilled and deeply honored to be recognized with this prestigious award and be counted among so many talented, gifted, and strong-hearted people. A heartfelt thank you to the Nashville Business Journal for this incredible acknowledgment.

My journey has been defined by resilience, self-discovery, and an unwavering drive for success. I chose to leave my role as an associate at my previous law firm when I recognized that I would continue to face barriers and limitations unless I took control of my own path. I knew that in order to reach my full potential and make the impact I envisioned in this community, I had to create change for myself.

That being said, these challenges ignited a fierce spark in me to succeed in my own way. I wanted to break down barriers for countless women facing similar struggles in fields like law, because there are too many where diligent work and proven abilities don't always translate into equitable compensation. I felt a responsibility to challenge the status quo.

The triumph of DevonLaw is a testament to its groundbreaking nature — owned and led by a female attorney, especially in the male-dominated realm of personal injury law. Our success is a beacon of inspiration for those who dare to change perceptions and realities and pave the way to a more inclusive future.
